TERMS & CONDITIONS

The panel of judges is looking for garden masterpieces that demonstrate outstanding craftsmanship, aesthetic appeal, a balance between technical excellence and creativity, and respect for the medium of concrete.

1. The competition is open to all participants except employees of PPC, their advertising agencies, promotional agencies and their immediate families.

2. The competition is open to SA Residents(SA Citizens and Foreign nationals) with verifiable Identity Documents.

3. To enter you must build a creative garden masterpiece using PPC Cement and upload photographs of your finished project, with a PPC Cement bag in the same frame, on the PPC website www.ppccreativecement.co.za.

4. The garden masterpiece must be built in South Africa and must be accessible for inspection and verification by thee judges.

5. Concrete must be used as the main medium of the garden masterpiece. It may be combined with any other media(i.e. wood, bronze, glass, electronics, etc.)but concrete must remain the main media. This is determined in the judges sole discretion.

6. A minimum of four photographs must be taken from at least two angles, and two of the four photographs must show the detail of the garden masterpiece in each photograph!

7. The garrden masterpiece must be technically sound to be eligible for entry, which is determined in the judges sole discretion.

8. Photographic entries must be of completed garden masterpieces. If winning pieces are found to be altered, either physically or photographically, compared to the photographic entry, they will be disqualified.

9. Garden masterpieces must not be older than 7 months and may not have been entered for other competitions.

10. The competition will run from 01 November 2010 to 28 February 2011. No late entries will be accepted.

11. Winners will be notified telephonically within 14 days of closing date (i.e by 15 March 2011).

12. The names of the winners will be published on the PPC website.

13. The grand prize is a garden makeover to the value of R50,000.00

14. Ten additional prizes of garden product hampers valued at R5,000.00 each will be awarded after the competition closing date.

15. The judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

16. Prizes are not transferable and/or negotiable.

17. Prizes not collected or claimed within 30 days of being awarded will be disposed of in PPCs sole discretion.

18. Personal information collected by PPC in the running of the competition will not be shared with any third party without the participants permission.
